ABOUT
ASSEMBLE Jiu Jitsu Academy is a BJJ club based in Carrickfergus. We have a focus on sport jiu jitsu and learning modern, competition-based concepts and techniques, staying up-to-date with the evolution of the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Grappling and MMA.
We aim to provide a friendly and welcoming environment to learn and grow, whilst pushing you to develop your skills as a martial artist, improving your fitness, movement and confidence.

yes - we love having people for cross training. Please get in touch to let us know you'll be visiting

If you intend to come to a Gi class, you will need your own Gi. We do have some spare, so please get in touch if you are new. Alternatively, you can come to a No-gi class. Please do not wear shorts with zips on them.

No - training BJJ is physically challenging, however, you will get fitter by participating. You can, however, take the class at your own pace. We understand people train for different purposes.

Whilst all our classes are suitable for beginners, we recommend attending the fundamental classes for the initial few weeks to get an understanding of the positions in BJJ. Our beginners courses are recommended for absolute new-starts.
